WORLD WAR II JAPANESE INVASION MONEY VJ MK PREFIX

Another new addition to my family member of JIM note collection. I love the condition of the note where the red ink of the MALAYAN VJ WAR SOUVENIR has somehow penetrated to the reverse of the note over the passage of time. The note is not an UNC note though.

I am not an expert in JIM notes, but this is the first time that I came across a piece of JIM $100 without the prefix MT. 

For those who are expert in grading, maybe you can help me see if the prefixes are purposely washed/cleaned?

WW II JIM Propaganda Money -VJ $5 UNC

There were many of these notes printed during the WWII era. However, how many of these notes actually survived? No one knows the answer. What more to survive in pristine UNC condition is no easy task.

I have been blessed a lot recently to be able to capture this piece of gem into my personal collection of JIM notes category.

Recent acquisition of JIM notes that is definitely not UNC...but hei, who said good quality stuff have to be UNC?

One should try to collect these JIM notes in the same prefix and running starting serial nos as shown, and you will find that the task is not as easy as you think it is...

Another masterpiece that I recently acquired after much effort... Yes, it is another former collection of Mr Wong Hon Sun. So far only 3 or 4 pieces known to exist.

The satisfaction of having this and the other $1000 JIM error is beyond any description by known words

Unlisted and Unissued JIM Specimen Notes PMG AU55

Finally another masterpiece that I can called my own. 1942 JIM $1 MO prefix specimen banknote. Graded by PMG as AU55. Some people said things that are unlisted usually doesn't exists and sometimes could be counterfeit product made in China. 

Well I would said it need not be the case for every instances. If you have done enough research and studies on your theme of collection, things may work out in anyway. 

My piece of advice to newbies and old timers, me included, always do homework and collect wisely. Use your brain and commonsense, and use you hard earn money wisely.

To the dealers, it is best to stop creating sandiwara, rumours and sparkling fears in the numis world, only to reappear in a later instances as a hero with a so called charitable act to convince newbies into buying your items.
